Ackert Ackert looked around slowly, his green eyes alighting on many of the splendid artifacts that the populace had created. His hair was pulled back into a fine ponytail, and his dress seemed a little out of place for the out doors.
He was dressed in a pair of fine black pants, a tunic that was covered with a emerald green vest. One of his hands was in the pocket on his vest while the other was lazily swinging by his side.
The vendors all seemed happy enough that he was looking over their tables and kiosks. He even ventured to pick up a few pieces he seemed interested in.
Mostly, it seemed, he was looking at women's jewlery. Perhaps he had a misses to give them to? Maybe he liked to be prepared. Who knew? Well no one, except maybe him.
"This is nice," he told a small lady. "How much are you asking for it?" he held up an emerald necklace and examined it. When he heard the price, which was probably a little high, he did not haggle it. "I will take it."
He reached into the pocket on his pants and produced the amount she was asking for. When the exchange was complete he dropped the necklace into his pocket. He smiled and then moved on to the next table.

"You know." Emelia said softly, gazing over his shoulder as she looked over the same objects he was, "I heard they were giving free pastries today in the bakery section." She said eying him closely, seeing how he held his posture and the deep quietness he was giving off, as if he had no other care in the world.
She in fact, did not know how this man would react to her offer. The Alliance Kingdom had a funny way of taking gratitude, much of Emelia knew that. But perhaps he is different from the knights. And although the King had sent her out for flowers for the annual ball, she had seemed to take the day out as one of her own.
"I'm sure you might enjoy them, you should come with me." She felt a little nervous, now. Although she wasn't looking for anything more than a simple chat and maybe a potential friendship, she didn't want to give off the wrong idea. "Did you hear about the ball going on in the Neutral Kingdom?" She said as she was now beside him, picking up objects here and there, waiting patiently for a response.

Hmm, he followed her easily enough. Though he did not know if he would be indulging in the pasteries it was nice to be approached for once. He was normally the one that had to do the approaching.
"No, I had not," he said. "How did you come to hear about it?" he had caught her arm by then, to be escorting her through the lines, though she was the one guiding him.
He smirked, without letting her answer. "Do you intend to go?" the idea seemed provocative enough. What else would be travelling through the outskirts of both Kingdoms? It was after all a dangerous trek, and there was always something romantic about danger. He chuckled at himself.

"I saw the free pastries on my way here; I'm actually here for other business, of course." She said as she let her elbow be grabbed, she didn't quite mind it at all. Company was so hard to come by, it was almost unbearable.
"I'm actually in charge of decorating the ball." She admitted as she said it in a quiet under tone, putting a finger to her lips to indicate not to talk much more about it. " And of course I'm going! I get to dance and have a good time and admire the compliments as people gawk at the beautiful decorations." She said grinning, not holding a heavy head of pride. "You should come, it's a great time and it's the one time during the year that Alliance and Horde aren't at each other's throats, they put their differences aside, at least a little bit." She said giggling a bit. " I'll even accompany you so you don't feel so alone."
She kept her bright smile, looking ahead as she was enjoying his company.

He would have asked what her duties were with the decorating, has she not quieted him on the subject before he could even utter a word. In order to mutate what he had been about to ask he awkwardly smiled.
"Oh? Accompany me?" he said with a chuckle. "Are you sure it is not you who wishes for me to accompany you?" He was teasing of course, and brushed it off as quickly as she had quieted him before. Once he was sure she was okay with his arm on hers he shifted some to be escorting her properly. "Have you chosen a dress yet?" he asked looking towards her past his shoulder, with a slight twinkle in his eyes.

"In fact, no." She quite bluntly, almost surprising herself on how.. Blunt she had been. Perhaps she should've hinted? She waved her hand nonchalantly, brushing the disadvantage aside. " I'm so busy decorating this, I barely have time to eat or sleep. It's the most important Ball of the year." She said a little dream like, her eyes glossing over for a moment.
"I'm proud to say that I have yet to hear a complaint about the decorations, it's probably why I'm still here." She said as she whispered the last part, giving a smug look. She tilted her face towards his, grinning back. " I am happy to say that I would be accompanying you, good sir." She said as she looked ahead once more, deciding to stroll instead of speed walk.
"I have yet to see you around here; are you new? Or do you just keep to yourself a lot?" She said now wanting to point her questions towards him. After all, he WAS going to take her, wasn't he?

He smirked then pulled her to a stop. "Well you cannot be in attendance of a ball without a dress," he said, ignoring her question for now, after all his focus was about the dress at the moment.
"In fact," he twirled her to look behind her. "It seems on your quest to find pastries you did not see this quaint tailor," he said pointing to a building that was faintly marked. "Shall we?" he bowed some and put his hand out towards the door of the shoppe.

She laughed, considering that she had not heard about him; soon she will, even if it meant a lifetime of searching. " If you must." She said as she stepped into the store, now seeming nervous. " I always felt uncomfortable shopping, I usually get simple dresses, even if we were supposed to be extravagent." She showed the uncomfortable tick of being in the limelight.
Her hands clasped together as she felt his shadow on her, following her comfortably. " Do you have something to wear?" She said brightly, turning her face towards him for a moment, before letting her fingertips trace over a silk dress, the touch smooth and fingertip tingling. It was a gun powder gray, the ruffles here and there seeming to catch her by awe.

"I always have something to wear," he said with a chuckle. Truth was he'd probably wear something very similiar to what he was currently wearing, perhaps just another shade on his vest. He interlaced his fingers behind his back and looked at the dress she was looking at. "But," he said. "If you would like," he looked around the shoppe. "We will get me something to match what we get you," he said with an uneasy chuckle.
"Well that'll never do," he said. It was a beautiful dress, no doubt. "I was thinking a silken purple dress, something jewel colored," he smiled. He was fond of the rich colors of jewels, like the emerald color on his vest.

Emelia nodded, but quirked her mouth to side uneasily. " But that'll be eye catching." She said hesitantly, glancing over at the more extravagant kind. She walked over to a shining purple, the shade seeming to glower next to her skin tone.
"What will do?" She said biting her lip, glancing at him once more.
