He listened respectively to her tales, he absorbed most of the information and stored it. He found that most of the information was not necessary for him to know; though she was sharing it so there was no need to be rude.
As they walked a small smile carressed his features. At a few points he chuckled lightly to himself. "You know money is not everything," he offered to her when she spoke of not having much.

" I know, but it also gives you a lot of things of availability when you do. When you don't have a lot of money, it's almost like it's restricting you." She said frowning a bit, before smiling once more. " What about you? Anything unimportant to share with me?" She said adding lightly, intertwining her arm with his once more.

He allowed her easy enough access to his arm, though did not divulge any information about himself, guarded as he was about it. He flashed a smile to her, however, and decided to continue down the conversation path he had created and not to follow the one she was trying to force on him.
"While it may be cumbersome to live in a city without money it is substantially easier when you remove yourself from the hussle and bustle," his voice was soft, barely audible over the din of the crowd around them, though some how it seemed to float directly to her, losing now amount of decible.

"I know what you mean." She said softly, sighing a bit. She was then quiet for a long moment, before looking to the people around her. " Did you ever wonder what other people are thinking? What they're feeling? Even if you don't know their name?" She said gazing around at them, and then up to him. "Do you?" She said then looking down to the ground below her, then straight ahead.
'Why do you avoid personal conversations so?" She said giving him a suspicious look, but it was a casual glance, a hidden hint of curiosity. " Is your past that delicate that it must not be known? I'm sure you have a reason for this, for you have been dancing across my questions all day." She said lightly, as if it wasn't a large deal.

He reflected on her question, but was no sooner assulted by another, about his desire to remain unknown. "Here we are," he said arriving to the table that was boasting free pastries. He picked up two and handed her one. He had not forgotten the questions she had asked of him, though -and probably not surprisingly- he only answered one.
"I do not fancy to know what others are thinking," he said. "In fact, in a world that we live in the thoughts of others hinge on evil and diabolical." He flashed a small smile as though it was nothing. "That is to say, unless you are saying you wish to speak to me head instead of my mouth," he chuckled softly. "Because it would be more useful."

She smiled, taking a pastry as they smiled at her. The rain was beginning to fall promisingly as the weather was always like this, and it was rare when the sun would shine, even for a few moments. She sighed a bit, taking a bite. " Well I suppose sometimes it's best if we don't talk about it, but I can't help but feel a little curious to know sometimes." She said with her mouth slightly full, her voice less spunky now.
She then looked behind her, seeing how the street was filled with horse drawn carts of food, clothing, and other things. She wondered about the Kingdoms well being, and then she asked another question, " What do you think of this place?" She said distractedly, taking another nibble as she tried to tune the voices out from being so loud and flamboyant.

He chuckled softly. "If you wanted to find some one that was willing to open up and tell you lyrics and stories you should have befriended a bard," he watched her momentarily before looking to his pastry. He had no intention of eating it, never had a sweet tooth after all.
"This place?" he asked looking around to the kingdom she was talking about. "It will fall," he said flatly. What else was there to say? No reign could last forever, he had seen it before. There would have to be a succession eventually, and then this would be a ruin, like his old home.

Emelia frowned at his sureness. She shrugged lightly, pretending that it wouldn't bother her. " Well what will you do if it does fall? Where would we go? Where would they go?" She said as she looked at all of the people once more, a small and tumbling fear gripping her.
She sighed lightly, shifting foot to foot nervously now, until it settled when she took another bite of her pastry. As the rain fell, she could see the organization of the Kingdom so well. Being on curvy hills that lead to a canyon far east, small creeks were built with design to help with the rain. Although some parts were unattractive, like the poorer part of the Kingdom, it still held together tightly.

He looked at her sideways, through green eyes. His hair was slowly becoming weighed down with the rain water. He sighed and looked at her. "An apocolypse is coming," was all he said. "Few will survive it, and those few that survive will have to learn to live with those creatures that they have considered enemies." He did not say what he would do, after all, it was enough to simply allow her a peek into the future.

She looked worried for a moment, a wave of despair brought her almost to her knees. Druids like her lived longer than the average human, which meant she might be here when it happens. She knew he wasn't going to say anymore, and knew that he wouldn't tell her how many times she kept it to herself.
"Is that why you're so secretive?" She said curiously, looking up at him once more. She gathered some materials at one shop, giving the person a coin as her body was beginning to shine a bit from the rain. Her hair clung to her skull and parts of it falling across her cheekbones and jawline. The rain left rolling drops of water to slide down her forehead, nose, and cheeks.
