He channeled her emotions and frowned himself before brightening it away with a smile. In a swift movement he had put his arm around her shoulders and guided her under an awning.
He himself was not cold, in fact he was putting off more heat than some one that was drenched should have been. In fact, if he were any warmer the water would probably evaporate - though I exaggerate, it was like hugging someone that had been under a blanket, incubating themself for an hour or so.
If pulling her under the awning had been part of some grand scheme then it was eloquently carried out because they were now in a boutique that contained dresses and cloaks.
He turned her towards a simple dress, light blue in color. "Do you like that one?" he asked. He smiled. "I will get it for you," he touched her side some; "You needn't worry about catching a cold." He flased another charming smile.

Emelia on the other hand, was shivering quite a bit. She huddled closer to him slightly, seeing how he was radiating heat. She was comforted, and she smiled a bit as almost all of her was soaked. Her hair was plastered to her skull and neck, and water droplets began to roll down the bridge of her nose and cheeks.
She laughed at his comment, and she brushed the offer away, " Don't worry about me, I'm perfectly happy with my closet right now. Although I must award you with having great taste." She said giggling a little, letting her fingertips brush against the fabric momentarily.

He frowned profoundly and looked at her. "Well, while you are content with your closet I am discontent with you wandering about soaked in a dress that's not made for this weather when we are standing in a tailoring shop."
He moved away from her some. "Now," he looked down at her sternly. "You will need to pick a dress and a cloak, and I won't take no for an answer."

Emelia frowned, and she tugged at her sopping wet clothes. " Well I don't think that I should, but you seem quite serious about it." She said as she looked at the clothing in his arms. " I do like that deep blue, it's quite beautiful." She said as she pressed her fingertips against the fabric, and smiled.
"Why not a crimson color?" she said as she looked around, stepping forward and looking at all of the fabrics. " What do you recommend?" She said trying to lift his spirits, feeling guilty for bringing them down in the first place.

His frowned lessened but only slightly. He knew she was only allowing him to buy her clothing because his reaction. Why was there any reason for him to have all this money when no one would allow him to buy them things?
"I thought you were afraid of colors," he mumbled after a moment, watching her look at the fabrics. He did not offer a reccomendation, just that.

"Afraid of colors? Nonsense." She said as she walked around the store, looking here and there with fabrics. "I always had a taste for strange colors." She said as she pulled out a cloak, which was a deep burgundy. with thick and comfortable fabric grazing across her fingertips. She smiled, liking this sensation. " Thank you for being so generous, although I don't know why, but your offer for the help of others is quite surprising, I thought I was alone." She said gently, beginning to get other cloaks and dresses, not really making it a sure decision yet.

He watched her as she moved from fabric to fabric and selecting a few. For awhile he didn't speak, thouch she had spoken to him.
She had moved far enough away from him that it pulled him back to reality. "What do you mean?" he asked after he followed her back to where she had moved to.

Emelia couldn't help but shrug and be silent for a few moments as she thought of an answer to his question. " You have money, yes?" She said looking up towards him and waiting for an approval. She didn't, and she continued on. " And here we are, in a clothing store - again I might add- and you're buying me something. I do believe that's very generous." She said as she stepped back, having an arm full of cloaks and fabrics to look at.
With the rain outside falling steadily, the rainy season that lasted between September and November would continue on. These months would be the months where people would gather as much rain as possible for the droughts that occur for their crops, and water that would clean enough for the humans to drink. This of course, was if you lived in the Kingdom. One of the many cons of living in a tightly packed Kingdom.

"Yes," he answered once she concluded speaking. He had grown accustom to her manner of speaking. He smiled some, watching her. "I have money," he paused. "Though," he said slowly. "I would not call it generous, in my account," he folded his arms.
"I have money, and nothing to spend it on, so I spend it on others," he didn't bother to explain that he sometimes funded failing shops in the kingdom.
Before she could ask any more questions he added. "Did you find any clothes you like?"

" Yes, these and these." She said picking out a few, some looking heavier and then some looking light. " I decided to plan ahead and shop for all seasons." She said blushing a bit before frowning, " is it to much? I can put it back." She said as she went forward to put some of the lighter things back.
"Oh? I still find it generous, did you know there's someone who funds some of the failing shops? You remind me of him, only because of the generosity thing. Although my shop is still in good hands, it's in one of the most thief consumed places. It's very mobile, though." She said happily, and turned to give a smile.
